Our RC Racing Team is possible because of generous funding by the Square One Education Network. The Square One Network works very hard to make this program a success and to give student STEM based experiences.

Our RC Racing Team Competes in the Mini Innovative Design Challenge. Each year the team convert a gas car into an electric car and then they get to race their cars against other schools. This year the races moved to the beautiful site of the Belle Isle Grand Prix.

Each team competes in four different races. The agility race is a grand prix style race, the pit stop challenge is a slalom course that emphasizes precision turns, and the top speed challenge is essentially a drag race. The fourth race is the mini 500. It is a classic oval race. It is the main event! Some videos of the races this year are shown below. Keep in mind that it was the first time racing for all of our drivers this year!

Videos of the last two races are below. They will be available as soon as YouTube is done uploading them ans more will follow.
